These rules apply to Chirroo’s website and private test app. They are here to protect households, their information, and the service.

Use Chirroo lawfully

Do not use Chirroo to break the law, threaten or exploit another person, invade someone’s privacy, spread malware, send spam, or share content you do not have the right to use.

Respect household access

Invite only people you trust. Do not pretend to be someone else, try to enter another household, bypass access controls, scrape the service, or probe it for weaknesses without written permission.

Do not disrupt the service

Do not overload Chirroo, automate abusive traffic, interfere with another person’s use, or use the service to distribute harmful files. Public or anonymous file sharing is not supported.

What happens if these rules are broken

We may limit or end access when reasonably needed to protect people, the service, or the law. We will consider the seriousness and context of the problem and, when appropriate, give the account owner a chance to fix it.
